The Hidden Hive Tipi Wedding - Vanessa & Ross
You know it’s going to be a good day when driving through the Derbyshire National forest to get to this wedding venue. The Hidden Hive is nestled within 66 acres of surrounding woodland, a glorious lake to have a good old stroll around, and I’m pretty certain that no matter the time of year you choose to have your wedding here, you’re going to be winning!

After a tough couple of years of planning, venues and photographer cancelling, luckily Vanessa and Ross stumbled upon the Hidden Hive, which also conveniently happened to be pretty much on their doorstep in Derbyshire. It’s not often you get to reassess your choices once you’ve already booked, but as soon as Ross and Vanessa arrived and we began chatting about their plans for the day, it was pretty apparent that this was a blessing in disguise!
They opted for the most amazing ceremony led by none other than Louise at Kick Ass Gatherings. Louise delivered a ceremony that was personal, funny, emotional & from overhearing the guests, the best wedding ceremony they’d ever witnessed! I seriously would recommend any couples to consider booking a celebrant for your wedding. Granted, here in the UK you have to do the legal bit separately, but that’s just a 10 minute job down at the register office! In return you’ll get a ceremony experience that is full of personality and the attentiveness that you fully deserve on your wedding day that’ll keep your mates chatting about for months!
The Hidden Hive is a Tipi Wedding Venue that’s been purposefully built, so unlike a lot of other tipi venues where you’ll also have to rent a space of land. The Hidden hive is all inclusive, and it is located in such an amazing space too.
