Photographing weddings is something I never take for granted. I work best with couples who want their day to unfold naturally, without being staged or steered, and who are comfortable trusting the process rather than being directed. My focus is on all the wonderful stuff that happens between people & place.

Hi, I’m Luke, a photographer based in Nottinghamshire, documenting weddings, humans & life on earth on both analogue film & digital formats as an artistic choice.

My work has always relied on intuition, watching and listening for the right moments.
It’s loose, sometimes messy, intimately quiet and other times chaotic. Such is life.

With a skill only really gained through working face to face with people and leading with empathy, My aim is to help even the most awkward of people feel at ease and welcome.

My now-husband and I had Luke shoot our wedding and it was the best decision we could have made! All our guests raved about what a pleasure he was and he made everyone feel right at home. What to Expect

When you get in touch, you should expect a personal email from me within 24-48 hours. With a pricing guide attached and a link to book a video call, so we can see if we’re a good fit.

I usually recommend getting in touch anywhere from 6-12 months in advance to secure your wedding date. Though my books are never closed, so it’s always worth getting in touch and hopefully I’m available for your date.

  • My photography blends a relaxed, natural (documentary) approach with a refined artistic feel. Specialising in capturing real, well thought out candid moments, ensuring that every image reflects the emotion of your day without interrupting the natural flow. My aim is to provide a bespoke collection of photos that you’ll treasure forever.

  • Absolutely. Every wedding is unique. As well as packages for ease, I offer fully bespoke packages tailored to reflect the specific needs and vision of each couple. Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a 3 day long shindig, we’ll collaborate to design a custom photography experience that perfectly complements your wedding.
    From additional hours to luxury albums, everything is curated to suit your style and requirements.

  • My approach is all about capturing unscripted moments. While I won’t ask you to pose in ways that feel unnatural, I’m there to gently guide you when needed to ensure we capture the most naturally flattering images. (Some might even be considered unflattering but you won’t care because you’ll remember how you felt in that exact moment.) I want the experience to feel effortless and genuine, allowing you to enjoy every moment of your day. And me? I’ll be capturing those as they happen!

  • You can expect a curated gallery of approximately 400 to 600 signature edited images. The final number depends on the nature and flow of your day, but rest assured, every image delivered will be a carefully crafted reflection of the key moments, the weird & wonderful, & fine details.

  • Yes, I am available to photograph weddings throughout the UK and internationally. I love working in new and unique locations, and I’m more than happy to accommodate destination weddings. Travel fees are calculated based on the location, and I’m always flexible in tailoring the logistics to suit your needs.

  • To secure your date, a 30% booking fee is required.

    Availability is limited, as I take on a select number of weddings each year to ensure I provide the highest level of service to each couple.

    You can easily make payments through my online booking system, and all major credit cards through Stripe Payments or bank transfers are accepted.

  • On average, my clients typically spend Between £2,400 - £3,400.

    However, I’m always open to have a conversation about tailoring bespoke coverage.

    Whether that’s more focus on analogue film, Super 8 Footage or just shorter weddings and Elopements.
