Documentary wedding photography or Reportage Photography is a candid approach to photographing a wedding day. As the name suggests is unposed and generally unobtrusive.

By prioritising your story of the events as they happen, not interfering with the moment but documenting it in a way that is artfully rendered.

Capturing those little and very important details that mean everything, allowing you to be present with all of your favourite people.

With no pressures or boxes to be checked, your pre wedding session can be at your favourite spot in the park, a long walk out on the countryside, or simply sipping something cozy at your favourite coffee shop.

And bonus, if you want to try on a new outfit or have a trial run of you wedding make up!

"BLOOM" is a totally unique pre-wedding photoshoot that is purely analogue film. You will also have a 35mm film camera and take photos of each other and your surroundings on our photoshoot in Nottingham. We then go back to a darkroom lab and develop the film and process your negatives by hand (the old-fashioned way!)

We’ll have a nice informal chat about your wedding plans to find out just what kinda thing floats your boat! AND more importantly what doesn’t!

Soon after you've booked by securing your wedding date with a 30% deposit, you’ll receive your wedding day questionnaire which includes all of the tiny details needed to make sure your day runs smoothly.

So you can relax on the way to becoming wedding legends, knowing that we're not going to miss anything!

Booking as far in advance as possible is highly recommended. Usually, after you've set eyes on and booked your perfect Wedding Venue!

This not only means there's more chance of your Wedding date being available, it also means we have plenty of time to keep in touch along the way.

I book between 25-30 Weddings a year to make sure you receive the best possible experience and attention that your Wedding deserves!

Then when it is time for some portraits 1. You'll already be feeling super comfortable since we've had plenty of chats and had a Pre-wedding shoot.

2. I won't ask you to pose in a way that is unnatural to you.

You’ll feel completely at ease and in the moment by the time we make pictures, I’ll occasionally jump in and advise on certain things, all helping you guys to be your best selves and feeling cool AF!

Once you have your wedding date set. Give me a shout by filling in the enquiry form on my Contact Page,

I'll get back to you pretty much immediately (usually within 24 hours). If I haven't, then check your Spam folder!

Hopefully I am still available for your date, we'll meet for a chat to make sure we're all on the same page and then I'll send you your contracts and quote.

Choose your package, sign the contracts and an invoice is automatically generated for you. I just require a 30% deposit to secure your date, with the remaining amount to be paid 4 weeks before the wedding.

You can easily make payments through my online booking system, and all major credit cards or bank transfers are accepted through Stripe Payments.
